Our Story

Why we built Tum-E

For over a year, our daughter — the little one we lovingly call Baby E — has battled stomach issues most of us will never have to understand. Pain that arrives without warning and lingers far longer than any child should have to bear. We bought her a little trampoline to help shake her gut and work out the trapped gas behind so much of it. It’s become part of her daily rhythm now. Not for fun. You can see the distress on her face during an episode, and as her parents, watching her hurt for this long without real relief has been the hardest thing we’ve faced.

In those moments, she would beg for something — anything — to distract her from the pain. That’s where a silly little game called Flappy Tird was born: a way to pull her mind somewhere lighter while her body settled. And because her days became a blur of meals, sleep, pain, and bathroom trips to keep track of, we needed one simple place to record it all and find the patterns her doctors could actually use.

So I built one. We named it Tum-E — for her tummy, and for our Baby E. It started as a problem I solved for my own family. Now we’re giving it to yours.
