FilterMyReview: More Reviews From Every Customer

FilterMyReview asks every customer for a review at the moment the job is done, with one tap to your Google or Yelp page. Next to the public review link, every customer can also send you a private note, so you hear about problems quickly and can fix them.

How it works

The surest way to a strong star rating is volume: ask everyone, every time, right after the work is finished. FilterMyReview makes that one tap for the customer and automatic for you.

  1. Ask every customer

After each job, the customer gets a text or email with a link to your branded request page. Everyone gets the same request; no one is screened out.

  2. Public review or private note

The request page shows your public review link and an optional private note on the same screen, with equal weight, for every customer.

  3. You hear about it fast

New public reviews and private notes trigger an alert, so you can thank, answer or fix the problem the same day.

What FilterMyReview includes

Request engine

Text-first review requests at job completion, with a direct link to your review form. Less friction means more reviews.

Branded request pages

Pages and QR codes in your colors and logo, easy to share at the counter, on a receipt or in an invoice.

Private notes

A private channel alongside the public link. Notes go to the owner with a reminder until they are answered.

Monitoring and alerts

Real-time alerts when a new review or note needs attention.

Reply drafts

A suggested reply for every review, ready for you to approve, so no review sits unanswered.

Reporting

Review count, pace, average rating over time and how fast you reply.

Why asking everyone works better than asking a few

A business with a handful of reviews can see its average drop sharply from a single bad one. A business that collects reviews from every customer builds a steady flow of honest ratings, and one unhappy review barely moves the average. Volume is what protects a rating, and volume comes from asking every customer at the right moment.

Asking everyone is also what Google requires. Google does not allow businesses to ask only happy customers for reviews, or to discourage unhappy customers from posting. FilterMyReview never sorts customers by how they feel: every customer sees the public review link.

Private notes help you fix problems, not hide them

Some customers would rather tell you directly what went wrong. The private note gives them that option, on the same screen as the public review link, and sends it straight to you with a reminder to respond. Many problems get solved when the owner calls back quickly, and a customer whose problem was fixed is often happy to say so.

Reviews that break Google's rules

Spam, fake, off-topic and competitor reviews break Google's own rules. FilterMyReview helps you spot likely violations and report them to Google through Google's process. Reviews are only ever reported for breaking a rule, never because they are negative, and Google makes the final decision.

Part of review management

FilterMyReview pairs well with our review management service, $300 a month, which adds hands-on replies written in your voice and a monthly report. Ask for a free game plan and we will show you how it would work for your business.

FAQ

Straight answers

Does FilterMyReview stop bad reviews?

No, and no tool should. Every customer gets your public review link. FilterMyReview helps you get more reviews from everyone, answer each one quickly and hear about problems through private notes.

Who gets a review request?

Every customer, right after the job. Asking everyone at the same moment is both the most effective approach and what Google's rules require.

Can I reward customers for leaving a review?

No. Google does not allow gifts or discounts in exchange for reviews. You may thank customers for private feedback in any way you like.
